I grew up on a dairy farm in Australia. For as long as I remember, I wanted to be a painter or writer. I didn’t get into art school but I did get into university where I studied philosophy and literature.
I taught philosophy as a sessional academic for a while. My area of specialisation was post-Kantian German philosophy (thanks for asking). You can still read things I wrote on that general area here, here, and, if you have a spare $270 (bargain!), here.
I was also an early(ish) member of something called the Melbourne School of Continental Philosophy — an indepedent teaching and research organisation that aims to make philosophy more accessible to the public.
I have always wanted the Australian cricket team to lose.
Down on my luck in a Berlin apartment in winter 2018, I picked up a book called Head First into HTML and now here we are.
